Godel Chocolate offers a Factory tour and experienced how they meticulously made their chocolates from scratch to bar; all authentic in taste and texture.

We now receive the highest local quality chocolates from Godel Chocolate, which are tasty and fresh from bean to bar. The company is currently exploring sweeter lands with the help of their cutting-edge equipment provided by Vesmach, giving us yet another reason to like our locally grown chocolate.

The Godel Chocolate Process: Bean to Bar

Godel leads us to their detailed instructions for making delicious chocolate. They are making use of cocoa beans grown locally in South Cotabato and other Filipino provinces. Godel collaborated with neighborhood farmers to provide cocoa pods directly from the farm to the facility.

Quality Control

Godel guarantees that each cocoa bean it uses is in good condition and suitable for refining. Because it’s been said that beans of poor quality can impair the flavor and quality of chocolates.

Sorting

Every cocoa bean was sorted by the employees, who divided them according to factors including condition and moisture content. The good beans are used to make cocoa, and the rejected beans are thrown away.

Final verdict

The place has a very nice homey ambiance that a coffee lover always finds. Their menu also has a profound choice of dishes that I’m sure any age level will surely love.

Last May 28, Mega Prime held their first-ever PRIME MOM CLUB event; the Prime Kitchen Masterclass with on ground moms at The Mets Place Makati and virtual moms participants via Zoom.

This event aims to help more moms level up their cooking skills geared up with new kitchen techniques and recipes from back-to-back lessons from Chef Hazel aka “Cooking Ina” and Chef Gerick Manalo.

Chef Hazel introduced moms to Kusina Speak, a super interesting session that covered the basics of cooking, sauce making, and plating. The segment helped moms understand terms that will make them even better cooks – cooking terms such as searing, pan frying, saute, deep frying, and the like. This was followed by “Ready, Set, Salang,” where Chef Hazel skillfully applied the cooking terms into an actual dish–Corn Chowder with Pan-Seared Chicken.

Adding to the enthusiasm of the audience, Chef Gerick then wowed the moms with more advanced cooking techniques and his cooking demo of a mouth-watering Herb & Garlic-Crusted Salmon with Truffle Bechamel Sauce – a tasty and healthy dish that he then plated to perfection.

Their cafe offers a menu with variety of choices for kids and their adult companions, plus a magnificent view of the water garden that gives you the feels of relaxation.

We ordered 2 pizzas, a Chocolate Chip Cookie a la mode and a cold bottled water for beverages.
